02What data we collect

When you submit the transport order (enquiry) form, we receive:

  • your phone number and email address;
  • loading and unloading place;
  • cargo weight and vehicle type;
  • your message (additional information);
  • the site language you used.

The form is sent by email to info@gestus.lt. We collect no other data about you.

03Purpose and legal basis

We use the data only to answer your enquiry, prepare a transport offer and communicate with you.

Legal basis: GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) (steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract) and Art. 6(1)(a) (your consent, given by ticking the box in the form).

04How long we keep it

We keep the data for 12 months from our last communication with you, unless a contract follows. If a contract is concluded, the data is kept for as long as accounting and other legal obligations require.

05Who receives the data

We do not sell data. It may be accessible only to our service providers acting as processors: hosting and email service providers. We do not transfer data outside the European Economic Area (EEA); if a processor were located outside the EEA, appropriate safeguards would apply (e.g. the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses).

06Cookies and browser storage

This site uses no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies and no third-party scripts; fonts are hosted on our own server.

  • Your chosen language is stored in your browser’s local storage (localStorage) and stays on your device only.
  • When the form is submitted, the server sets a strictly necessary session cookie (PHP session) to prevent spam (rate limiting). It is deleted when you close the browser.

As we only use strictly necessary means, we show no cookie banner.

07Your rights

You have the right to access your data, have it rectified or erased, restrict or object to its processing, receive it in a portable form, and withdraw your consent at any time (this does not affect processing carried out before withdrawal). Write to info@gestus.lt.

If you believe your rights have been infringed, you may lodge a complaint with the State Data Protection Inspectorate (VDAI): L. Sapiegos g. 17, LT-10312 Vilnius, www.vdai.lrv.lt.
